You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, which may be higher (for example, 16 in parts of the European Economic Area) — and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law. The Service is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone who does not meet these requirements.

askmi is an anonymous question-and-answer platform. Users can ask questions (including anonymously), post answers, comment, and interact with content created by others. Because questions and other content may be submitted anonymously, we do not and cannot verify the identity of any person who submits content, and we do not control what users say or do.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account.

• You are solely responsible for any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service, including anonymous questions, answers, comments, images, and other materials (“User Content”).
• You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and that it does not violate these Terms, any law, or the rights of any third party.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, use, reproduce, modify (for formatting), publish, display, and distribute your User Content for the purposes of operating, providing, and promoting the Service.
• We do not claim ownership of your User Content. This license ends when you delete your User Content, except to the extent it has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or where retention is required by law.

User Content is created by users, not by us. We do not endorse, verify, vouch for, or assume any responsibility for any User Content, including anonymous content. We are under no obligation to monitor User Content, but we reserve the right (without any obligation) to review, screen, refuse, edit, or remove any content at our sole discretion, at any time and for any reason, without notice.

You understand that by using the Service you may be exposed to content that is inaccurate, offensive, indecent, harmful, or otherwise objectionable, and that you use the Service entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for, and disclaim all liability arising from, the conduct of any user or the content any user submits, whether on or off the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, defame, or intimidate any person;
• Post hate speech or content that incites violence or discrimination;
• Post, solicit, or facilitate any sexual content involving minors, or any other illegal content;
• Share another person's private or identifying information (“doxxing”) without consent;
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Distribute spam, scams, malware, or engage in phishing;
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data, or access the Service by automated means except as expressly permitted;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems;
• Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party, or circumvent our moderation or safety measures.

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, remove, restrict, or disable access to any content or account that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at any time, without notice, and without liability to you. We provide tools to block users and report content. Submitting a report does not create any obligation on us to take any particular action or to act within any timeframe.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us at the address below with: a description of the work, the location of the allegedly infringing content, your contact information, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized. We may remove content claimed to be infringing and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

The Service may display advertising and contain links to third-party websites, products, or services (for example, Google AdSense). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, services, or practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR RELIABLE. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HERE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL askmi OR ITS OPERATORS, OWNERS, AFFILIATES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPUTATION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, ANY USER CONTENT, OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER OR THIRD PARTY, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless askmi and its operators, owners, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: your User Content; your use of the Service; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

Because the Service involves interactions among users and content submitted anonymously, you release askmi and its operators, owners, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, demands, and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with any dispute between you and another user or third party, or with any content posted by others.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including the content license (to the extent applicable), disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, release, and governing law — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live, you agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively by the courts located in Romania, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

• These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
• Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
• Section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
